Emily Shaw

Emily Shaw, LICSW, is an EMDRIA Certified Therapist, and EMDR Consultant-in-Training and Facilitator-in-Training with Deany Laliotis. Emily is licensed in the states of Massachusetts, New York and for telehealth in Florida. She works with adolescents, adults and couples struggling with a broad range of emotional, relational and interpersonal issues. Prior to private practice, Emily worked in community mental health at the Jacobi Medical Center in the Bronx, NY and then the Austen Riggs Center in Stockbridge MA, a private psychiatric hospital. In addition to her private practice, Emily provides virtual mental health webinars to corporations and organizations nationally and abroad. Initially trained as a psychodynamic therapist, Emily feels EMDR has significantly enhanced her practice and is excited to work with new trainees to support them in their EMDR learning and growth. Emily received a BA with honors from Brown University and her MSW from New York University. She is currently available for individual and group consultation.
