Julie Donahue

Julie Donahue is a Certified EMDR therapist and a Consultant-in-Training under the mentorship of Deany Laliotis. She completed her EMDR Basic and Intermediate Training with The Center beginning in 2021 and has pursued ongoing supervision with trainer and Master Consultant Sarah Rosney. Julie continues to deepen her expertise through advanced specialty training in dissociation, early developmental and attachment trauma, and relationship issues.

Julie has over 20 years of experience working with individuals and families across Delaware and Pennsylvania through her group practice. She commonly treats PTSD, complex trauma, anxiety, depression, grief and loss, chronic pain, life transitions, and relationship challenges.

Julie earned her Master’s degree from Temple University, is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), and a National Certified Counselor (NCC). A lifelong learner, Julie draws from trauma-informed modalities informed by Interpersonal Neurobiology (INB), family systems, and working with disconnected “parts of self” using Internal Family Systems (IFS) integrating them into an EMDR-AIP framework.  Julie has also developed and implemented trauma-informed therapeutic classrooms, training educators and administrators in the public school system to create learning environments rooted in contemporary trauma-informed principles.

She brings a warm, curious, and collaborative presence to her work—using humor, attunement, and compassion to normalize the human experience while fostering a safe, connected, and transformative therapeutic relationship. Julie is available online for individual and group case consultation.
