Kelly Alpert, LCSW-C

Kelly Alpert, LCSW-C is an EMDRIA Certified Therapist and Consultant. She is the owner of a small group practice in Bethesda, MD and is licensed to practice in Maryland, Washington DC, Maine, and Vermont. She is mentored by Deany Laliotis, LICSW and Mary French, BSN, LCSW-C. 

She specializes in the treatment of adults and adolescents who have experienced complex developmental/attachment trauma, childhood sexual abuse, and grief and loss. With a focus on healing through EMDR, Kelly has a holistic approach that integrates mind, body, and spirit. She incorporates experiential mindfulness and meditation practice into therapy sessions and works with clients to incorporate these practices into their daily lives, fostering a balanced and comprehensive path to embodied healing and mental, emotional, and spiritual wellness. Kelly is an approved Ketamine Assisted EMDR™ provider with the Ketamine Assisted EMDR™ Institute, integrating psycholytic (low dose) ketamine into EMDR memory reprocessing. 

As a dedicated EMDR psychotherapist and a lifelong learner, Kelly is committed to her own continued healing and learning and teaching processes. She enjoys supporting other clinicians in their journeys as EMDR therapists. She is excited to offer consultation to newly trained and experienced EMDR therapists looking to deepen their understanding and application of the treatment and enhance their clinical skills.
