Nooshin Kiankhooy

Nooshin Kiankhooy, LCPC is an EMDRIA Certified Therapist and completed her Basic (2023) and Intermediate (2025) Training through the Center. She is also a Consultant-in-Training and Facilitator-in-Training working under the guidance of Deany Laliotis. She is in ongoing consultation with Deborah Marks, LCSW-C who is a Master Consultant and Facilitator with The Center. Nooshin received her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from The University of Maryland-Baltimore County and her Masters Degree in Community Counseling from Marymount University. 

In 2013, Nooshin founded Empowering You, LLC, a private-practice specializing in trauma and eating disorders. In addition to her EMDR certification, she is also a Certified Eating Disorder Specialist - Consultant, since 2010. She has experience working in higher levels of care for eating disorders as well as general psychiatric hospitals, having a breadth of knowledge across the board. Nooshin is also an Approved Supervisor in the state of Maryland for newly licensed counselors. 

Nooshin particularly enjoys consulting and supervising those looking for more support around integrating EMDR therapy with eating disorders treatment.
