Elizabeth Harwood

Elizabeth Harwood, LCSW, is an EMDRIA-certified Therapist and Consultant-in-Training with Deany Laliotis. Elizabeth has a private practice in Scarsdale, New York and received her degree in Social Work from Columbia University.  Elizabeth completed her EMDR basic training in 2018 and has since pursued advanced training through The Center to include the Relational EMDR Therapy®️ Master's Certification program.  

Elizabeth spent the first decade of her career working in higher levels of care, which led to a strong passion for systems work.  She has made a career of building out and encouraging family programming and collaborating with other providers.  In addition to family systems work, Elizabeth is experienced in treating eating disorders, grief, and complex trauma.  Elizabeth particularly enjoys helping individuals and families as they navigate in and out of higher levels of care.   In addition to her role as a psychotherapist, Elizabeth has spent most of her career in leadership positions where she discovered a love for supporting other therapists in finding their passions and developing their strengths.

Elizabeth is a self-proclaimed nerd, a lifelong learner, and is quick to engage in conversations about good books and best practices.  In her free time, she makes jewelry, reads, and enjoys traveling.
