Elyse Denorfia

Elyse Denorfia, LCSW, LICSW is a licensed psychotherapist specializing in the treatment of childhood trauma, complex trauma, developmental and attachment trauma, anxiety, and depression. She works virtually with adults in New York, Connecticut, and Massachusetts and is an EMDRIA Certified Consultant and Therapist.

Elyse earned both her Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Social Work from Westfield State University and trained in EMDR therapy in 2019. Her clinical background includes work in adolescent residential treatment, foster youth programs, school-based settings, and private practice, providing her with a broad and integrative perspective on trauma treatment.

A lifelong learner, Elyse has trained and consulted with leading clinicians in the field. She is passionate about supporting both newly trained and experienced EMDR therapists in deepening their clinical understanding, strengthening case conceptualization, and refining EMDR skills. Elyse offers individual and group EMDR consultation via Zoom.
