Biography

Jasmine is an EMDRIA Certified Therapist™️, Consultant-in-Training, and a Relational EMDR therapist who sees clients virtually in Virginia and the United Kingdom. Her clinical work focuses on trauma, attachment, and relationships, with a particular interest in the ways relational experiences shape the nervous system, sense of self, and capacity for connection.

Her approach to EMDR is grounded in Relational EMDR Therapy®️, emphasizing attunement, collaboration, and the resonance within the therapeutic relationship as essential to trauma healing. Her work is informed by her ongoing training in R-EMDR with Deany Laliotis and reflects a deep interest in understanding trauma within the context of a person’s relationships and developmental experiences. When working with couples, she integrates EMDR with Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT) and attachment-based principles, creating space to address both individual trauma and the patterns that shape and perpetuate relational difficulties. She also draws on The Theory of Structural Dissociation and Parts work when helpful in developing a deeper understanding of clients’ experiences.

Jasmine works with individuals and couples and has a particular interest in complex trauma and the ways people adapt to difficult relational and developmental experiences. She believes effective EMDR therapy is not a one-size-fits-all process, but one that requires curiosity, attunement, and the ability to adapt the work to each person and the relationships in which they are embedded.

Alongside her clinical practice, Jasmine provides EMDR consultation to therapists who are developing their skills and deepening their work with more complex presentations. She also supports therapists pursuing EMDRIA certification and is passionate about helping clinicians develop a more nuanced, relational understanding of EMDR therapy.
