Perry Peace

Perry Peace, Ph.D., LMHC, is an EMDR psychotherapist in Gainesville, FL. Her background in crisis intervention and trauma has allowed her to work with a wide variety of clients as well as specialized populations, such as law enforcement and first responders. Perry has extensive training and experience working with somatic modalities of therapy and has worked in a variety of clinical settings. She currently owns a private practice in North Central Florida and serves individuals throughout the state. Her areas of expertise are complex trauma, PTSD, and grief.

In addition to her clinical practice, Perry values research and scholarship. She has published articles and designed graduate coursework based on her research related to felt sense experiencing in beginning therapists. She studied and taught at the University of Florida and maintains connections with the faculty there.

Perry enjoys working with other therapists through supervision and consultation. She offers a relational approach in both her work as a therapist and her roles as a supervisor or consultant. She is currently working with Deany Laliotis as a Facilitator-in-Training and Consultant-in-Training and is accepting consultees for both group and individual consultation.
