Katie Quinlan

Katie Quinlan, CMHC, is from Salt Lake City, Utah and is an EMDRIA-certified Trainer, Consultant, and Therapist. She is a licensed mental health therapist who has worked with children, adolescents, and adults for over 20 years. Katie is a member of the EMDR International Association (EMDRIA) and has earned her undergraduate degree at Carleton College and completed her Masters in Counseling Psychology at Boston College.

Katie specializes in working with individuals who have experienced trauma at all stages of life and believes in our capacity for healing disturbing life events. She has practiced in multiple treatment environments including residential, in-home, school-based, and outpatient milieus. She has also received intensive supervision and training in structural family therapy. Katie was the Clinical Director at Sovegna for 10 years, an outpatient practice that focuses on trauma, addiction, and mental health recovery.

Katie has actively pursued Deany’s advanced trainings and Masterclasses and appreciates the stance of being a lifelong learner. She is currently offering Basic Trainings in EMDR therapy through The Center and is a Master Consultant in Relational EMDR. Katie is in private practice and sees clients and consultees online and in person.
