Renee Eddy

Renee Eddy, LPC, Reiki Master, is based in Norwich, CT and is an EMDRA Certified Therapist and Approved Consultant.  Renee received her MS in Forensic Psychology in 2008 and a post-graduate certificate in Counseling in 2009. After several years in private practice, she established Eddy Wellness, a multi-disciplinary wellness center and group practice.

Renee works with people suffering from an array of emotional challenges including adjustment difficulties, anxiety, depression, relational issues, and PTSD. Her specialty is in trauma throughout the life span, including complex developmental trauma.  She has worked in varying roles throughout her career as a counselor to include: an emergency response pediatric therapist, outpatient clinician in a non-profit agency, forensic therapist, clinical supervisor, program coordinator, and college professor.  

Renee utilizes traditional and holistic approaches to treat the whole self – mind, body, spirit.  Renee is a life-long learner and frequently seeks out opportunities to expand and challenge her own knowledge.  She brings an unyielding belief in the innate capacity for human healing and growth to all of her work, whether it is with a client, student, or consultee. Renee loves to partner with EMDR trained clinicians to help them expand their understanding and use of EMDR psychotherapy.  Renee offers individual and group consultation online and in person.
