After receiving her doctorate in Clinical Psychology, gaining experience with all ages, clinical issues and many modalities, Sharon Clayman's, Psy.D., core value of continuing education led her to EMDR and has not looked back. She immediately felt that this experiential modality is a lens through which she can help people address core issues and experience true, deep, and lasting change. She has witnessed incredible healing and growth in her clients over the years as she has built upon her EMDR practice by weaving in ego state and somatic work. Sharon brings her authentic relational self to her work with clients and is grateful to be in a position to help people lead fuller, more present and fulfilling lives with greater self-compassion.
On a personal note, Sharon currently lives in Cheshire, CT and has a private group practice. She is currently specializing in offering intensive psychotherapy. She was a French major in college, lived in France for a year, and speaks French. She also lived in Spain for a year as an au pair after college and speaks Spanish fluently . She is a mom of two, exercise enthusiast, sunshine worshiper, and lover of all things travel that take her to learn about new places and people!
