Registration and Cancellation Policy

Before your training begins:
Registration Form and Participant Agreement are required within 48 hours of purchase. We ask for both documents early so we can confirm eligibility, prepare your training materials, and hold your seat with confidence. If we have not received both from you within that window, you will be withdrawn from the training and a refund will be issued, less a 3% credit card processing fee. If your application is not approved, you will receive a full refund of any tuition paid.  If your plans change before you have submitted these, please let us know in writing at admin@emdrtherapy.com as soon as you can.

Canceling after you have registered:

Once your Registration Form and Participant Agreement are on file, the refund schedule for your training depends on which program you are enrolled in. All cancellation requests must be submitted in writing to admin@emdrtherapy.com. Timing is measured from the start date of the training you are cancelling.


Basic Training (Part 1, Part 2, and Bundle)

Fees below are deducted from your tuition; the remainder is refunded (or, inside 14 days, held as a one-time credit).
Credits issued under this policy may be applied once and cannot be reissued or carried forward. Full detail, including how credits and exchanges interact, is in your Basic Training Participant Agreement.
30 or more days before the start date
Tuition refunded less:
Bundle Fee: $150
Part 1 Fee: $50
Part 2 Fee: $100
14 - 29 days before the start date
Tuition refunded less:
Bundle Fee: $250
Part 1 Fee: $100
Part 2 Fee: $150
Fewer than 14 days before the start date
Non-refundable. One-time credit less:
Bundle Fee: $350
Part 1 Fee: $150
Part 2 Fee: $250
After start date
If you withdraw once training has begun, no refund or credit is available, but you may re-enroll one time at a reduced rate:
$950 for the Bundle
$375 for Part 1
$650 for Part 2.

Advanced trainings, The Craft of EMDR Therapy, and Master trainings

30 or more days before the start date
Tuition refunded, less a $150 administrative fee
14 - 29 days before the start date
Tuition refunded, less:
- $150 administrative fee for Advanced trainings
- $250 administrative fee for The Craft of EMDR Therapy, Examining the Self of the Therapist, The Dance of Attachment

Fewer than 14 days before the start date
Non-refundable.
A 50% credit may be issued for a future cohort of the same training. 
After the start date
No refunds or credits are available once the training begins.

If The Center cancels or reschedules

We reserve the right to cancel or reschedule a training at our discretion. If we do, you may transfer your tuition to a future training or receive a full refund.

In the rare event that a training must be cancelled due to severe weather or another major disruption, you will receive a credit toward a future training of the same type. If that training is not offered again within twelve months, we will provide a makeup session or an equivalent alternative.
