Looking for a way to work more effectively with all your clients?
Want to help them experience permanent healing?
Ready to transform your clients' lives?
Then this Basic EMDR Training is for you.
Take the First Step
Our Basic EMDR Training is your first step in a practice-changing approach to transformational healing. You can begin to master the theory and practice of EMDR therapy as a comprehensive psychotherapy approach through this three-part, 46-hour Basic EMDR Training. It is approved by EMDRIA, the gold standard for EMDR training and certification worldwide. In fact, our training exceeds EMDRIA’s requirements with more hours dedicated to supervised practice sessions and case consultation so you can feel confident about using EMDR with your clients right away.
We combine formal instruction with small group practice to give you a first-hand experience of EMDR memory reprocessing—from both the therapist and client point of view.
What to Expect in Basic Training
Deany Laliotis is passionate about EMDR and her interactive teaching style makes the EMDR model and methods come alive.
You will experience EMDR in action through dramatic videos of actual client sessions that demonstrate step by step what you are learning.
Gain first-hand experience of EMDR memory reprocessing in your small group practice sessions where an experienced EMDR therapist guides you through the process—both as therapist and "client."
You are encouraged to talk about your own clinical cases throughout the course so you can apply what you are learning with your own clients. That translates to over 10 hours of case consultation at no additional cost.
You will also receive a comprehensive, up-to-date EMDR Therapy Basic Training Manual including a thorough Resources section plus Forms and Worksheets to guide your EMDR practice. This must-have EMDR Training Manual is an invaluable reference that not only is yours to keep forever but will continue to be updated!
Who Is Eligible?
You are—if you are a mental health clinician, licensed for independent practice.
If you are not yet licensed, you must be on a licensing track under the guidance of a clinical supervisor. If you are a graduate student, you must have completed your core coursework and currently work in a practice setting.
It's important that you see clients while you are in training so you can apply what you learn and ask for feedback during consultation.
If you work at a non-profit or government agency and carry a full caseload, ask about our non-profit agency discount.
