How The Craft Is Structured
The Craft is delivered across two multi-day sessions, scheduled with time between them so you can return to your practice, work with what you've learned, and bring real questions back to the second session.
This is intensive, hands-on training — every day includes both didactic instruction and supervised practice with fellow clinicians.

Two Reasons Clinicians Choose The Craft
Some clinicians arrive at The Craft because they are working toward Master-level training in Relational EMDR Therapy® and need the foundation it provides.
The Craft is a required prerequisite for Master Training, and for good reason. The depth of case conceptualization, clinical interweave work, and therapeutic alliance work you do here is what Master-level training builds on.
Other clinicians arrive at The Craft simply because they are ready to go deeper. You do not need to have Master Training in your sights to benefit from this work.
If you are six months or more past Basic Training and finding yourself with clients whose cases feel more complicated than your foundational training prepared you for, The Craft meets you exactly there — whether or not you ever take another course after it.
Who Is Eligible?
The Craft is open to clinicians who completed Basic Training at least six months (suggested) prior and have been actively practicing EMDR therapy with clients since.
This training assumes a working familiarity with the AIP model and EMDR's eight phases — it is built to deepen what you already know, not introduce it for the first time.
You should be licensed for independent practice, or on a licensing track under clinical supervision.
If it has been awhile since you took Basic Training, it is strongly recommended you take advantage of the Refresher Training included with your purchase.

Do I need to attend both sessions of The Craft?
Yes. The Craft is structured as two multi-day sessions that build on each other, with time between them for clinical integration. Both sessions are included in a single registration and are required to complete the training and earn your CE credits.
Is the Refresher Course really included at no extra cost?
Yes. Once you register for The Craft, you receive instructions for registering for the one-day Refresher Course, Back to the Future, at no additional charge. You'll earn 6 CEs for completing it.
How is The Craft different from Advanced Training?
Advanced Training courses focus on specific clinical topics — such as attachment work or recent trauma protocols — and clinicians can choose one or several based on their interests.
The Craft is a more comprehensive, multi-day immersion that deepens your overall clinical skill across case conceptualization, interweaves, and treatment planning, and serves specifically as the bridge to Master-level training.

Do I need Advanced Training before I can register for The Craft?
What does a typical training day in The Craft look like?
How many CE credits does The Craft carry?
The Craft carries 32 CE credits in total, including 30.5 EMDRIA credits, plus an additional 6 CEs from the included Refresher Course if you complete it.
What is the cancellation policy for The Craft Trainings?
Tuition is refundable up to 30 days in advance less a $150 administrative fee. Withdrawals between 14 and 29 days from the start date of the training are refundable less a $250 administrative fee.
Withdrawals less than 14 days from the start date are not refundable.
A one-time credit can be applied towards the same Training in the future at the Standard Rate less a $250 administrative fee.
All requests for cancellations must be submitted in writing by email to admin@emdrtherapy.com.
If you have to withdraw during the training, we offer a one-time option of enrolling in the Training again at the reduced rate of $350 as space allows.

Why is there a six-month gap required after Basic Training?
The six-month period is not a scheduling formality. The Craft is built on case conceptualization, clinical interweave work, and therapeutic alliance skills that only become meaningful once you have real clinical mileage with EMDR therapy behind you. Clinicians who have been practicing for at least six months arrive with actual client cases to draw on, questions that have come up in real sessions, and a working familiarity with the model that this training is designed to deepen rather than introduce. Coming in too early means missing much of what makes The Craft valuable.
