Autumn Prior, LICSW

Autumn Prior is a Certified EMDR Therapist and an EMDRIA-approved Consultant-in-Training under the mentorship of Deany Laliotis. Autumn comes to the process of EMDR teaching and consultation with over 20 years of experience in the mental health field and the last 15 years as a private practitioner. Autumn was trained in EMDR therapy in 2020 and has been using EMDR as a primary therapy modality since then.  Autumn’s areas of clinical expertise include working with those who have suffered from complex trauma, sexual abuse, domestic violence, depression, anxiety, low self esteem, and grief/loss. Autumn conducts weekly therapy sessions as well as EMDR Intensives for individuals ranging from teenage years to late adulthood.  As a therapist, she works hard to create a space that is safe and warm so that people can allow themselves to be vulnerable in their healing journey. As a Consultant, Autumn engages consultees in a thoughtful discussion and exchange of ideas, facilitating a deeper understanding of the clinical choice points in EMDR as a psychotherapy approach.
