Laura Bell

Laura Bell, LPC, NCC is an EMDRIA-certified Therapist and a Consultant-in-Training with Deany Laliotis for The Center. Laura currently owns a private practice in Woodbridge, VA. She earned a master’s degree in Counseling from Marymount University in 2011. Past experience also includes ten years as a school counselor working with students’ pre-kindergarten through high school.

In private practice, Laura specializes in working with children, adolescents, and adults who have experienced childhood trauma, complex trauma, developmental and/or attachment trauma, anxiety, and depression. 

Prior to completing EMDR basic training in 2020, Laura has many years of experience in working with children and adults and approaches each client holistically by integrating mindfulness and meditation in her EMDR work in order to facilitate whole health and increase opportunities for healing. 

With a commitment to never stop learning, Laura has been fortunate enough to become a consultee of Deany Laliotis and other EMDR luminaries in her journey. She is excited to offer that opportunity for growth to newly trained as well as seasoned EMDR therapists looking to challenge themselves, deepen their knowledge, and enhance their clinical skills.
