Lida Lisowe, LCHMC

Lida Lisowe, LCMHC, is a Certified EMDR Therapist, and EMDRIA-approved Consultant in Training under the mentorship of Deany Laliotis. She maintains a private practice in Raleigh, NC, and specializes in simple and complex trauma disorders, PTSD, developmental and attachment trauma, grief and loss, and navigating life transitions. Lida gained valuable experience as a USAF intelligence analyst before accumulating a broad range of clinical expertise working with adults, youth, and couples in various settings including schools and non-profit community mental health programs. In 2018, she transitioned into private practice, dedicating her work exclusively to adult survivors of childhood trauma, abuse, and neglect.

Trained in EMDR therapy with Deany in 2021, Lida developed a passion for this powerful, robust and transformative model and exclusively uses EMDR as a comprehensive and relational therapy to help her clients heal. She is also an integrative therapist, incorporating somatic interventions, mindfulness and parts work as needed into her EMDR practice. A committed lifelong learner, Lida has completed several advanced-level trainings in complex trauma and continues to seek experiences to deepen her understanding and practice of EMDR. Like her therapy practice, her approach to consultation is collaborative and focuses on the relational dimension between therapist and client to promote the healing process.
