Overview

EMDR Training opens the door to a new level of clinical effectiveness in your work. As an EMDR Therapist, you’ll be able to help clients find lasting relief from their symptoms and live more fully than ever before. EMDR Training prepares you to help your clients permanently resolve persistent problems of daily life that are rooted in complex trauma.

Here Are a Few Things That Will Change the Way You Practice for Good

This is a practice-changing approach to transformational healing with EMDR Therapy. It’s your chance to master the theory and practice of EMDR with Deany Laliotis LICSW, one of the field’s most dynamic and highly regarded EMDR trainers.

  • Basic EMDR therapy procedures, protocols and techniques;
  • A full range of applications from EMDR treatment for acute trauma and PTSD to longer-term EMDR therapy for challenging clinical cases like complex trauma and dissociative disorders;
  • How to use EMDR therapy to treat problems of daily life such as low self-esteem, relationship difficulties, loneliness, anxiety, depression and addictions;
  • The practice of EMDR teletherapy—an essential skill for your successful practice.

This three-part, 46-hour training is approved by EMDRIA. It combines teaching and clinical video case studies as well as clinical practice sessions that give you first-hand experience of EMDR memory processing both as a clinician and from a client’s point of view.

Frequently Asked Questions

What is the cancellation policy?

Tuition is refundable up to 30 days in advance less the application fee. Withdrawals between 14 and 29 days from the start date of the training are refundable less a $250 administrative fee. Withdrawals less than 14 days from the start date are not refundable.  The tuition, less a $350 administrative fee, can be credited towards a future Basic Training at the Standard Rate.  All requests for cancellations must be submitted in writing by email to admin@emdrtherapy.com.  There are no refunds or credits once the training begins.  No partial CE credit can be earned if you miss any portion of the training.  In case of extenuating circumstances, we may offer a one-time option of enrolling at a future Basic Training again at the reduced rate of $450 if space allows. The Center reserves the right to cancel or reschedule the training at its discretion and will credit one’s tuition towards a future date or offer a full refund.

How long will I have access to my training materials?

Training materials are yours to keep.  You can review the video recordings throughout the training after each segment, and for 6 months after the Part 3 segment.

Is there an agency rate for clinicians that work in a non-profit setting?

Yes, there is! If you work at an agency or non-profit for at least 30 hours a week, you will qualify for the reduced tuition rate. Please email admin@emdrtherapy.com.

Are non-licensed professionals and graduate students eligible?

Yes! Graduate students need to have completed their core coursework before they can apply. Non-licensed clinicians on a licensing track will need to submit a letter from their supervisor to that effect.

Here’s What One Colleague Says about This Training

Both personally and professionally, I have benefited so much from Deany’s EMDR Therapy Basic Training. This program was a perfect combination of didactics, videos of real therapy sessions, small group discussions, and, most importantly, the opportunity to practice EMDR therapy with other trainees! I grew immensely from my experiences as the therapist, client, and observer. Plus, I received support for specific questions that came up in my clinical work. I appreciate Deany’s passion, expertise, and comprehensive teaching approach!
