EMDR Therapy Basic Training - Early Fall 2023

Bring a new dimension of healing to your work with this three-part, EMDRIA approved Basic EMDR Training. We’ll guide you, step-by-step, through the theory and practice of EMDR as a comprehensive psychotherapy. You’ll learn to employ EMDR for trauma-related disorders and life challenges such as low self-esteem, relationship difficulties, loneliness, grief, anxiety, depression and addictions. Compelling video examples of real clinical sessions illustrate key concepts. And you’ll practice what you learn through supervised work in dyads. Case consultation is included, providing support as you start using EMDR with your own clients.

EMDR is easily integrated into your current practice. It complements and strengthens the effectiveness of other methods you already rely on. You can use it with children, families and couples. It offers one of the quickest pathways to symptom relief and is proven to provide lasting—even transformational—change in clients’ lives. Read about all the benefits of this Basic Training below.

Here’s What One Colleague Says about Basic Training

Both personally and professionally, I have benefited so much from Deany’s EMDR Therapy Basic Training. This program was a perfect combination of didactics, videos of real therapy sessions, small group discussions, and, most importantly, the opportunity to practice EMDR therapy with other trainees! I grew immensely from my experiences as the therapist, client, and observer. Plus, I received support for specific questions that came up in my clinical work. I appreciate Deany’s passion, expertise, and comprehensive teaching approach!
