Anne Gialanella

Anne Gialanella, LPC is an EMDR psychotherapist in Washington, D.C. with specialties in complex PTSD, recent traumatic events, and attachment issues. She is an EMDRIA-approved Consultant and Certified Therapist. Anne holds a Master’s in Counseling for Mental Health and Wellness from New York University and a bachelor’s degree from Wake Forest University. In addition to certification in EMDR, Anne is certified as a Somatic Experiencing Practitioner. Before starting her private practice, Anne treated clients at S.O.M.E. (So Others Might Eat), Safe Shore (the DC Children’s Advocacy Center), and The D.C. Rape Crisis Center. She enjoys working with newly trained clinicians as they continue to hone their EMDR psychotherapy skills.
