Healing the Healer: A Mind-Body Weekend for EMDR Therapists

We are drawn to become EMDR therapists because we want to help people shed the pain of their past trauma. We want people to live more fully and peacefully in the present moment. As dedicated EMDR therapists, we are deeply embodied and attuned to our clients. While this work is rewarding, it is also demanding. We can feel tired, overwhelmed, and overworked.

Join EMDR therapy trainer and consultant, psychotherapist, and Kripalu yoga teacher Erika Tsoukanelis to honor the demands of this work and take time to attend to yourself as a healer. While developing your skills as an EMDR therapist by learning how to create a future vision, you will also give yourself the gift of a weekend to connect, unwind, and move mindfully. Doing a piece of personal work in the company of your dedicated peers, you will have the opportunity to release any blocks that may be in the way of self-attendance and self-care.
