Katie Quinlan

Katie Quinlan, CMHC, is from Salt Lake City, Utah and is an EMDRIA certified Therapist and Consultant. She is a licensed mental health therapist who has worked with children, adolescents, and adults for over 15 years. Katie is a member of the EMDR International Association (EMDRIA) and has earned her undergraduate degree at Carleton College and completed her Masters in Counseling Psychology at Boston College.

Katie specializes in working with individuals who have experienced trauma at all stages of life and believes in our capacity for healing disturbing life events. She has practiced in multiple treatment environments including residential, in-home, school-based, and outpatient milieus. She has also received intensive supervision and training in structural family therapy. Katie was the Clinical Director at Sovegna for over ten years, an outpatient practice that focuses on trauma, addiction, and mental health recovery utilizing an integrative approach.

Katie has actively pursued Deany’s advanced trainings and Masterclasses and appreciates the stance of being a life-long learner. She enjoys bringing this approach to consultation with new as well as experienced EMDR practitioners. Katie is in private practice and is available for in-person or virtual consultation.
